As a reminder, you can replace the grade on the last quiz with your grade on the equations section of your nine weeks exam. The nine weeks exam will cover chapters 8, 9, and 10.

The test on chapter 10 will be administered during class tomorrow. To prepare for the test, rework the example problems from lecture and the homework problems. If you're short on time, just read the lecture notes and answer the lecture problems. If you have time, answer the lecture problems, then try to answer the homework problems faster and without looking at your notes.

If you have any questions, you can email me anytime before 12 am. If you are concerned that your question can't be answered through email, ask me anyway. I can figure out a way to answer your question electronically.

If you missed class this week, you may take the test after Spring Break. I recommend taking the test tomorrow if at all possible, so you don't have to study over the break.

The test on chapter 9 will be administered in class on Wednesday. Tuesday is a review day, but I will not be there. During class, you may work in groups to review for the test. I recommend reworking the homework problems as well as the worksheet I handed out in class. You may check your homework answers in the teacher's edition of the textbook. The substitute teacher will have copies of the key to the worksheet as well as blank copies of the worksheet. I will also leave copies of the tables you will need to solve the problems.

If you missed class today, make sure you get the answers to homework problems 18-27. We also worked on the following worksheet: Equation Practice. If you have time tonight, try to work at least a few of the worksheet problems. We will go over homework problems 35-48 during class tomorrow. Monday is President's Day, so the test will be administered during class on Tuesday.

The test will be on Friday instead of Wednesday due to the play-off game.
